Curious, why is there a token launch/airdrop?

From my understanding the goal of a token is to reduce cost and friction for AI agents.
Maybe one day AI agents will zap sats via Lightning.
From their website:

So they are pump and dumping a shitcoin. Got it. There is no need to launch a token. Just take LN payments, done.
