Who likes gardening? At my place the season is officially open. Today I sowed the first vegetables and flowers. In 2 weeks, the next ones will follow. Keep your fingers crossed for the seeds. #babechain #plebchain

I πŸ’œ this!

My garden and I are pretty good friends. πŸ€™πŸ½

great to hear! Do you have fruits and vegetables, or rather flowers, shrubs, trees?

I have mostly for trees, but I switch things around. Last year I was pretty successful with corn in a small patch and lettuce, peppers. Where I am the growing season is almost year round. So I have pots and trees kind of all around. πŸ™‚

Fuji apples, cutie oranges, lemons, limes, pomegranate, grapefruit, grapes, ginger, apricot, strawberries, mint, rosemary, squash, bananas, last year was the first year my avocados came. Uhh yeah.

wow that sounds amazing! I assume you live in a country with fantastic weather all year round. In Germany, unfortunately, the season is short and, apart from apples, pears, or cherries, it is hard to grow more "warm-weather" fruit trees.

Good enough weather to be surrounded by these trees in a big backyard with grass and a pool in the middle 😁 I accept my blessings.

But yours must be sweet because you have to feel pride in your harvest with so much more work out into it, harsher environment and all.

Thank you, it is true. I am a beginner, trying to learn from my mistakes. Gardening gives me a lot of joy, it's fun to harvest my tomatoes, cucumbers or lettuce. Such a small thing but brings a lot of joy.

I'm definitely no expert. I just like sitting in the sun and watering my lawn on lazy days. Maybe taking mushrooms before🀷🏽

And I enjoy the fruit that I do get. 😁

It's very relaxing πŸ™‚

I like lazy gardening. Ponds big enough to look after themselves and fruit bushes/trees ditto :-)

yess, that's perfect way to do it. This year I'd like to make raised beds for vegetables (boxes) so that I can finally have easy access and fewer weeds and slugs πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

Thanks for the reminder

no problem πŸ˜„

We do! #babechain

fantastic! πŸ™‚ What did you plant there?

I love gardening! I live in the Midwest (U.S.), and this has been one of the mildest winters on record. My crabapple tree is about to bloom already 😳 and flowers are popping everywhere! But I don’t dare plant yet (not until late April or early May because another deep freeze is sure to hit this area before winter is done 😩

Unfortunately, at my place until Wednesday night frosts, so for now the pots stand on the windowsill. On the other hand, I see buds on the forsythia, so I'm hoping that these are the last cold days...

Tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and lettuce 🀭 what is your favorite plant?

I really like tomatoes and peppers, but I also grow cucumbers, lettuce. This year I will try to plant zucchini and leek 🀞🏻

Awesome! I Hope you and everyone else have lots to harvest this year πŸ€—

Thank you, let's hope we all get fantastic harvest πŸ’œ
