Got an email from HMRC the other day letting me know that my email address was linked with a bitcoin purchase and that I needed to declare how much I have so they could decide if they want to tax me on it.

Haven’t lived in the UK for over 15 years.

Sorry HMRC, lost it all in a boating accident.🤷
