When did this happen?
It's happening right now.. I think Bitcoin accounts for over 10% of world economy activity right now. I remember hearing that number a year or two ago, so I'm not really sure where it is right now. Might you know?
Powell is full of crap. The Genius Act, allowing for Stable Coins doesn't mean only one Stablecoin attached to the dollar will be available. Nope. Wait till you see a Stable coin backed by Gold. Or one backed by Bitcoin. Americans know what the fiat dollar is. It's been a path to slavery, having to work harder & harder as inflation takes our buying power from us. Well, when other currencies are easily available, you think people will keep their wealth in the fiat dollar? I don't think so.
So, to be clear, he doesn't understand gold either. Cool. Gold is not a speculative asset, it is a commodity with a majority monetary use value (which Bitcoin is destroying). Absolute clown shoe.
