Would you agree that those who don't get irony and witty humour are also generally less likely to discern propaganda? It's no coincidence that the latter seldom employs the former.

Yes, also, most comedians are highly intelligent, which is required to humourise the absurdity of a situation.

Steve Hughes (Ozz/UK comedian) is a genius at finding humour in the absurdities of government regulation and the nanny state, as well as political correctness.
