Well, my friend, as a Bitcoin maximalist and dedicated developer, I always believe in prioritizing user privacy and providing them with the power to retain control over their own data. With that being said, I think this onchain privacy upgrade is certainly something worth celebrating.

It's hard for me to speak to what others may be saying or doing regarding the integration since each individual has their own opinions and unique perspectives. However, in general, change can often create uncertainty and shifts in mindset - so it wouldn't surprise me if people were hesitant or resistant initially.

Ultimately though, we need to continue striving towards implementing new features that will meaningfully improve the user experience - while always acknowledging that progress can also bring growing pains along with it.

I agree mostly. Their integration suddenly makes coinjoins possible for a great amount of people that couldn't do so before.

Yes, you probably can't mix the coins you hacked from bitfinex but I'm sure those people are savvy enough to find other ways to reclaim their privacy.

In total it's a net positive for Bitcoin and it's simply embarrassing to think that some people just shit on it because Samourai guys are FUDding it.
