I feel like i’m taking crazy pills #asknostr

Why is it that, despite now common knowledge that there is a direct connection between a primal user’s KYC info (thanks to its wallet setup) and the user’s npub (their identity across *all* clients), there are people promoting primal as a way to onboard new people to nostr?

How is that not an instant deal breaker? What am i missing here? Is primal just straight up paying people to shill it, or am i misunderstanding something? What’s going on here 🤔

I genuinely don’t understand how that makes sense, assuming one’s goals involve the growth of freedom tech in any way, shape, or form. That just seems like elon’s Xitter™️ all over again. No good for the noobs being onboarded
