An interesting part Medium's board meeting was comparing notes on AI.

My notes are that in practice AI generates trash and the detection tools don't work. Humans want to talk to humans, are the best AI detectors and hate it, and human stories rock.

On the flip side, the board members do a lot of investments and are getting pitched on all the AI innovation that is coming. So they were very much optimists for what is coming.
