NOSTR is growing in number gradually but not exponentially. Lots of APP has come online

Any technology is mostly useless non-tech masses buy into it.

What is preventing NON-TECH, NO-COINER to come to NOSTR ? #growstr #plebchain

Lacks Content diversity

Too much Bitcoin noise n propaganda over killing

High technical dev propaganda for non-computing folks

(some folks not interested in any crypto or finance or tech at all)

Somewhat pro technical atmosphere

User higher learning curve – Primal Amethyst gocurrent MINIMIZED this a LOT in past 6months – it getting better

Only stuff success notice was #foodstr (#footstr #dogstr #travestr #cookstr is yet 2 grow)

add + …

Telling ordinary users to VPN/Tor/CLI tools DONT HELP them2learn.

where 99.999% such folk revealing IP/email/biometric to AWS/GOOG/APPLE everyday – 2% worldwide desktop run-on-linux

The biggest issues you mentioned are related to the content, which can be solved in 2 ways, curated (in progress via DVMs) and purple pilling.

Purple pilling is opportunistic, if nostr was around during covid it would be bigger. Do you think it's easier to drag creators here from a place like Twitter, or is it easier to get folks from rumble, minds etc?

Do you think we need to get content creators the ability to x post so it fits into their existing workflows and then as they see value allow them to create pay walled content, or do we need/want pay walled content?

not an expert - (expressed views n points) -

whichever way possible it fine - "make-it-easy-but--somewhat-secure" will helpful long run - lot of #press feeds pours into nostr via bridges of general web content now + bot alerts / tips rss

I personally think cross posting functionality is needed. Get someone from Twitter signed up, they don't have to use nostr, but just post the content. They log in 3 months later and see all their sats

I think the ability to have public and private groups/communities/teams within nostr would help a great deal. Sort of like whats available in Keybase.

That already exists?

You're right, But keep in mind that the competition in the market of social networks is very tough. Google+ couldn’t beat Facebook, and Threads couldn’t compete with Twitter, though two big companies with millions of users were backing them.

NOSTR is "far beyond" SOCIALS - yes X like social is main APP for now - if u notice all UX 98% designed just like ex-bird app

Oh yeah, I forgot nostr is a decentralized EVERYTHING.
