Agreed! new to Nostr as of 2 hours ago. downloaded Damus and tried to find you, no luck. went to your Twitter profile, saw link for primal, and here we are. significantly more intuitive!

They use the Strike API. It's required because strike is a US based custodian (similar reasons as to why WOS isn't available in the US anymore)

Speaking of broken, it appears your NIP-05 validation is no longer valid since the NostrVerified.com service closed down. I've gone ahead and added your pubkey to mine, which you can switch the domain to @verified-nostr.com in order for it to show valid, if you like.

I understand about the 30% Apple store fee, but even with that, if I try to add using the currency in my country, Romania, I pay 6x more than what I get in sats equivalent…Something seems very wrong in the conversion.
