Nostr’s greatest strength is its simplicity. It’s greatest weakness is it’s dependence on the standard internet.

As for why you wrote this, it just means you want to talk about other subjects. And label those as “normal” because that is what you are used to. Nothing wrong with that, but try something new. what do you have to lose?

I’ve been into crypto for a long time and for any social media platform to be successful it really needs to be used by non-geeks.

There seems very little non-crypto traffic on here.

I don’t know about prickly. This started by my suggested, albeit in a roundabout way, that this platform, whilst technically interesting, requires more non-geeky content to be successful. There are too many crypto echo chambers online imo. The big question for me is “would my girlfriend use it?”. Right now the answer is negative.
