i have a half dead discord account at the moment

i forgot the pin on the yubikey for it, didn't have sms 2fa enabled, had to reset the yubikey so all the credentials on it for fido2 are gone along with the discord one, which was actually the only one remaining on it that actually was useful

i go to discord's server and all i get is "peer help" and certainly no assistance with how to trigger an account recovery after i locked myself out of changing my password due to yubikey and not leaving the key saved somewhere in a browser because using the desktop app, while i still have phone app and desktop app still logged in

and this is for work, in any case

i've told the people in their general chat what's happened, made a new account, which promptly got locked out and refused to be allowed to join my work server, so i've asked them to invite the new account

did i mention i hate discord?

i wish they used slack now, that would be way better

irony is they are building a social/collab system on Internet Computer which is going to be wiped and redeployed shortly, and idk lol

nothing i can do, this all only came up because i needed to go talk to the discord of some project i'm working with but ok i'll just keep searching the witty knowledgebase and tutorials and figure it out myself i think
