I watch a bunch of different live streams that day for almost 9 hours. There were a couple agitators and tear gas went into the crowd causing a lot of chaos in pockets.
There were a lot of people there and I think certain politicians wanted it to get out of hand. From what I've seen, it was a mix of both. With most causing no harm.
And for all we know there were state instigators there. I'd bet there were. It was just too good of an opportunity at that time.
This is one of several reasons I don't go to things like that. It's too easy to essentially make me into a patsy. It's a giant patsy lottery really.
I have a friend who was there. He said it was obvious that there were paid agitators not with the rest of the normal people, and the capitol police were acting in a bizarrely coordinated fashion.
For example, there were capitol police everywhere -- out in the yard and by the capitol building. This isn't strange in itself. But the main disturbances were near a couple of the capitol doors. Suddenly, 100% of the police -- regardless of where they were -- fired off tear gas in random directions. My friend said he was standing near an old lady in the yard who was right next to where the tear gas exploded. They were hundreds of feet away from any sort of disturbance. It was totally peaceful, yet every single police offer shot off tear gas at the exact same time. The tear gas was fired so that a photo could be taken that made the whole place look like a warzone.
There were so many sus things about the whole event... it was an insane psyop the way it was handled and treated.

I watched them livestream Ashley Babbitt being shot, and everything prior to that was broken glass, pounding on doors, and other parade tactics. Chest-Thumping while climbing the walls and jumping through windows, and ultimately attempting to breach the interior. That part was wholly-planned and nothing will convince me otherwise. This was across dozens of streams.
The people there literally used thinglongers to beat the shit out of a bunch of cops, and according to Kurt Cobain, 'Nothing is more beautiful than a rock in a cop's face.' They still got hurt, badly, so part of me just accepts this happened.
If you entered the building, you did wrong. You wanted The Heads of the whole process groveling at your feet, or rolling past after the guilloutine was fully set up and used. Stop lying to yourselves and those around you. Own your own internal convictions and thoughts, cowards.
The 3 seconds you've seen of the 'peaceful' 'protestors' outside did not even remotely represent what was going on inside. If you think that, you're unreasonably stupid.
Shit went down. The State responded, as it does, and those traitors (remember, from The State's POV here as well as mine) should be punished for breaking well-established law.
The 'Party of Law & Order' does not see a single thing wrong with what they did. Who's the Deep State, now? QED.
