or

An Evil/Incompetent Demiurge

The good news is: it doesn't really matter because there is no difference - only a level of abstraction. The situation is the same regardless, and so is the ameiliorative approach:

A #Gnostic morality and worldview.

Reject the natural order. Pursue objective knowledge of your reality. Change your reality to suit your Self.

That is what a soul should be doing.
