5. Limit Download and Upload Speeds

a. Set speeds at "Tools -> Preferences -> Speed -> Global Rate Limits"

- To:

- Uploads: 100KiBs

- Downloads: 600KiBs

If you run max speed for hours or days on end sharing Linux distros with the world, just about any ISP will get annoyed. Streaming data at 600 KBs is like you're watching internet TV, and that's not such a nuisance to them, so keep it throttled.
