Enjoyed the thought experiment, but I think in terms of effort, if one wants to travel, it’s probably better to just buy.
I’ve been thinking about this on and off for the past two years and every time I come to the same conclusion.
Not speaking about the fact that you'd have to carry 15kg ASIC with you. 😅
