OK community folks, how do we best represent the 500 or so nostr:nprofile1qqsra2ey033mkdwl5w8q0jss9ak69zafh82xsuvhwsaauw3trkq2amgpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qgcwaehxw309anxjmr5v4ezumn0wd68ytnhd9hx2tck28qzu communities natively on Nostr?

Right now we have an Area primative that is a geojson (multi)poly then a bunch of tags for name, logo, population etc. We use Areas for both Communities and Countries.

Feels like this is an Area kind that may reference existing community kinds of different flavours. Or a geographic addon to existing Community kind?

Additionally, Services (such as plumbers with no public address aka Place) could serve an Area.

Ideally we’d like any individual or community to have an npub

Communities use the npub as their profile/hub/website

Then individuals like plumbers can donate X% of their sales to their communities (circular economics)

For the technicals of geo location I don’t know… I’m leaving that to you experts 😁… but I think both the ability to pin point a location AND the ability to draw an area / radius covered are both essential for 2 different kinds of users (public/private)

For communications we’ll be developing with MLS but recommend something like Whitenoise for a more complete solution nostr:nprofile1qqst0mtgkp3du662ztj3l4fgts0purksu5fgek5n4vgmg9gt2hkn9lqpypmhxue69uhkummnw3ezuetfde6kuer6wasku7nfvuh8xurpvdjj7qghwaehxw309ahx7um5wghxz7n6v9kk7tnwv46z7f2l5cu
