Amethyst is as smooth as butter this morning. I may be able to tag people or pay Lightning invoices, but all other functionality just works. I can't use a desktop client this morning, thanks to all of our new friends giving Nostr plenty of hugs. I am very grateful that this Android client exists.

Are they using a different set of relays to other clients? Shouldn’t that be the only differentiator of performance?

I think most of the web clients are doing most of their work on the front end so they should only be constrained by relays, no?

If a web client is getting hammered with traffic, which many are, then that would effect performance. Using lesser known or less popular client has been successful for me.

Yeah. I guess there is always stuff that isn’t happening strictly in the browser.
