I think the pendulum will swing back also with culture. I used to think that globalization and unification was a great thing until you understand that being different and having your own community with own values is what makes living worth

I think about this often. The world has gotten smaller, more homogeneous, less interesting.
I wonder if this is something that we can recover or is it something that, once lost, is lost forever?
