Got a LE SteamDeck coming tomorrow!!

So excited to take my library of games with me on the go! Not to mention EmuDeck and the other cool retro games you can run on it 😄

Anyone else got one? Considered one? Waiting for the next model or a different brand? I have a feeling handheld gaming is here to stay with Microsoft also announcing they will be entering the handheld device market in a few years.

Biggest consumer of games? Mobile users...

Not PC, Playstation or XBOX... but ridiculously shit mobile games that work on microtransactions that still ain't so... micro.

Hopefully the handheld market and SteamOS will continue to be kind to Linux and keep working upon it. If a SteamOS came out for the actual desktop... It wouldn't need much for it to convince me to wipe the bloatware piece of shit called Windows. Can only hope.

Little jealous, I’ve been tempted to grab one of these for a while now. Primarily been an Xbox player for 15yrs, but there’s a lot of pc and ps games I miss out on.

I keep going back and forth between dropping the sats now or waiting for the second gen.

I totally hear you on that...

I've been wanting the SteamDeck since day 1 of release 😅 - After they announced they were releasing in Australia in November and the LE one too.. I so had to nab it.

I skipped on it earlier by getting a GPD Win 4 but honestly... it doesn't compare! Might be better specs but the SteamDeck is honestly a work of art. It's a silky smooth ecosystem for those who own steam games already :D - I'm amazed I can play CP2077 on it. Also discovered this just before which I installed... Holy shit, very little noticeable latency and stream's games/desktop from your PC to the steamdeck!

Ah man that so cool. I’m amazed they got cp2077 running on that little guy after everything they went through at launch.

I just bought the expansion for that the other day, probably give it another go from the beginning this weekend

Yes!! I did the same and got 40 or so hours in but then something-game that was new and shiny came out and probably caught my attn.

Got it streaming from desktop in 4K to my steamdeck now with close to 0 latency. Amazing feels! Also I watchded a streamer play the expansion who herself was in the game! Was actually a good DLC!
