I love what Jack is doing with strike but I'm an Aussie and can't get it yet. I was in talks with their team earlier this year to get a boarderless donation pIatform set up at scale.

I got muun when I was checking out the Bitcoin scene in El Salvador in 2021 and got the job done for day to day transactions. Probably about time I get my pi set up with my own node. Wallet of Satoshi seems great for a hot wallet and I'll stick to this one till I set my node up

We plan to run our own node soon, too. nostr:npub1aeh2zw4elewy5682lxc6xnlqzjnxksq303gwu2npfaxd49vmde6qcq4nwx is brilliant and patient in this regard. Lots of Aussies here. nostr:npub1el3mgvtdjpfntdkwq446pmprpdv85v6rs85zh7dq9gvy7tgx37xs2kl27r

all lightning wallets are "hot wallets"

none of them support cold storage yet.

Yes. We have a Ledger, but even those have issues. We are getting a Cold Card, and a nostr:npub1jg552aulj07skd6e7y2hu0vl5g8nl5jvfw8jhn6jpjk0vjd0waksvl6n8n Jade.

both ledger are cold card are proprietary closed source, or partially proprietary closed source. I would stay away from those two. Jade is fully open source.

My lightning wallets on my phone are for micro transactions and zapping fun. I don’t keep appreciable Sats anywhere but cold storage.

exactly. So it doesnt really make a big different if youre using a custodial lightning wallet or a non custodial lightning wallet. They are all hot wallets at the end of the day. Coffee change.
