I really don’t like weight lifting—it’s hard, I have to push myself, and take responsibility for how I look and feel, which is hard in and of itself.

However I do recognize that I almost always have a better mood, more motivation, and just a higher capacity to get shit done on the days that I do lift.

I don’t wanna be fat, weak, and unhealthy when I’m 40, so I’d rather just eat the frog now and just accept that it is hard work and there is no way around that.

weight lifting is also so repetitive 😖 podcasts push the boredom out of it

same for me! it's a good chance to get some content consumption in, two birds with one stone an all that

but i worry that maybe my gains are lower if my attention is split...
