"During the last Ice Age, indigenous people migrated from Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia to North America by crossing the Bering Land Bridge, which connected Asia and Alaska when sea levels were lower."

If this is historically factual, there might be a question of what impact those(Land Bridge) more recent travellers had on the "indigenous" peoples already living in the Americas.

I bring this up because in the late 1980s I spent some time with a Peruvian friend and we often talked deep things. One subject that got him very animated was the "descended from Asia" theory. His exact words that I will always remember, "This is not our creation story". He was adamant that, in his case S. American, ancient cultures pre-dated that land-bridge migration and that experienced sea faring peoples were already present in the Southern Pacific regions.

More recent research suggests that the Clovis first, land bridge theory should be reevaluated as evidence does now point to populations that pre-date that last ice age Bering Strait crossing.
