Is there any reason not to email someone a bitcoin “receive” address you’ve never used before?

Otherwise avoiding re-use is perfect.
Long term privacy risk as email is insecure by nature. Also could be changed in transit as email has no real content authenticity guarantee. These things are remote risks now but will likely be exploited in time. If you’re asking practically right now, probably safe.
