I just want to talk about how every star, constellation, and planet in our sky has continued rotating in PERFECT CIRCLES around Polaris for over 6,000 YEARS, without a single degree of change, despite Earth careening 3 million miles an hour in 5 different directions.

The earths orbit is so tiny compared to the distance to the stars, such that we never notice. Look up "their" distance to Polaris, P, and earths orbit radius around the sun, R. Then calculate tan(R/P)*2. Which gives you the maximum angle difference between two points on the orbit. Small, eh?? (Rememember to not fuckip the units of measurement.)
