Since you called off the contest immediately after my DM discussion with the Meme account about the rules, I can only assume these accusations are directed at me, and I ask that you reconsider making such strong unfounded accusations. Corn my bad if you took this personal, but it wasnโt. It wasnโt just our dms that put a bad taste in my mouth, itโs me trying to please everyone. Today I noticed that Iโm never gonna achieve that.. thereโs no way Iโm ever going to make everyone happy & everyone is going to have fun.. so it stopped being fun for me the moment I noticed that. Many many things added up & made it the way it is. Iโm truly not the person that should be doing this, thereโs other frens that have given me great advice of not trying to please everyone & to have people play by my rules since itโs my game, that should be running it. Because I couldnโt do that I wanted it to be OUR game, as you can see by my community discussions asking for input from everyone on how things should be structured. When I saw your post canceling the contest go out right after our DM conversation and then this, the timing of it all is what made it seem like a personal accusation, so I wanted to make sure the air is clear about that. Not here to make enemies ๐ ๐ซ I appreciate your explanation about the larger context, and can imagine how it became unnecessarily complicated for you trying to be the organizer. I love making memes and seeing what others make. Once monetary prizes enter the picture it gets tricky to create the right process and still have fun with it. All good man, def the monetary thing makes it a lot stricter if I wasnโt taking any sponsors I could be sooooooo much more lenient, tbh there would prob be no rules, but then there would be no prizes so what would incentivize people to create dank memes & join up other than the laughs & good time we usually all have, idk badges ? Most ppl hate my badges lmaoooo I had to cut back on making them bc now ppl call them shitcoins ๐คฆโโ๏ธ canโt help but feel that I contributed to that lolll so idkkk but yeah hopefully someone finds the correct way of doing this moving forward ๐ซ๐ and thank you!
