I could never figure out why my posts on Nostr acted so strange. I never did the NIP-05 thing, so that may have factored in with some relays rejecting non-NIP-05'd messages.
Oh well, the protocol and client creators all seem to be in agreement that they want this "decentralized, censorship-resistant protocol" to be nothing more than a homogeneous bitcoin circlejerk. The abysmal user retention numbers make it clear that the average autist who finds Nostr gets bored quickly with that, but hey, those guys just don't get it, right?
Some of the devs seem to be coming around to a) free speech and b) attracting people who aren't btc maxi's, We'll see how it goes.
