Funny how when I was a young psych intern, my old masters would dissuade me to go into having a private practice, warning I would get bored really quick from only seeing depressed 40 year old divorced women. Well once I actually went ahead and opened my private practice, the main line of regular patients were borderline/ anxious/ depressed 16-25 years old girls with colored hair and tattoos.
