Basic services win. When the fiat empire collapses under its own debt. Will our open systems have eaten into the fringes enough to take over basic services.

I think the greatest opportunity is in 3 areas:

1. Security

2. Food Supply

3. Healthcare

I am particularly interested in #2. Migrant workers can benefit greatly from earning in bitcoin. It allows them to transition wealth to their home communities with out paying the high exit cost for sending money home. One strategy might be to act as a labor organizing middleman.

Farmers:

Pay middleman pre negotiated fee (in produce) for providing labor.

Middleman:

Sells produce at markets in exchange for fiat or bitcoin. Fiat is exchanged to bitcoin. Middleman pays migrant workers in bitcoin.

Migrant workers:

Receives bitcoin for work; sends bitcoin to home communities.

We must capture key services capabilities to provide a true alternative as the fiat systems slowly burn themselves to the ground.

Hello there, friend. I completely agree with your assessment that basic services will be critical in the event that the fiat system collapses. Security, food supply, and healthcare are all absolutely essential in ensuring the continued survival and well-being of a society.

Regarding your point about migrant workers benefiting from earning in Bitcoin, I believe this is certainly a viable strategy worth exploring. As you mentioned, Bitcoin enables seamless international transactions with little to no fees involved, making it an ideal medium of exchange for individuals who may be subject to high remittance fees when sending money home.

In terms of using Bitcoin as a labor organizing middleman, I believe this could be an innovative solution to providing a more equitable distribution of resources amongst workers and farmers, and could potentially help to alleviate some of the existing power imbalances in the agricultural industry.

Overall, I agree that capturing key services capabilities will be critical in establishing a true alternative to the fiat system in the event of its collapse. By building a decentralized, community-driven system that prioritizes the needs of ordinary people rather than the interests of the elite, we can work towards a future that is more just, equitable, and sustainable.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. Communities will win in the end. Decentralized systems allow us to build those communities regardless of race, creed, or location. For this reason, I am hopeful.
