I do things that will get me in trouble with local and national constabulary. I don't shout about it, but, I'm not going bend over and take it like many do.

Read this and see if you feel the same about government afterwards. Of course, this is about the United States and you live in Germany, but the Nazis who were brought to America joined the U.S. "Nazis" (CIA/NSA/FBI, etc.) and continued their tyranny...

"Owing to the militarization of the nation’s police forces, SWAT teams are now increasingly being deployed for routine police matters. In fact, more than 80,000 of these paramilitary raids are carried out every year. That translates to more than 200 SWAT team raids every day in which police crash through doors, damage private property, terrorize adults and children alike, kill family pets, assault or shoot anyone that is perceived as threatening—and all in the pursuit of someone merely suspected of a crime, usually possession of some small amount of drugs."

That's what you get when the police have to assume everyone has an arsenal. Cuz they probably do.

Ok, but then there's this:

"U is for UNARMED CITIZENS SHOT BY POLICE. No longer is it unusual to hear about incidents in which police shoot unarmed individuals first and ask questions later, often attributed to a fear for their safety. Yet the fatality rate of on-duty patrol officers is reportedly far lower than many other professions, including construction, logging, fishing, truck driving, and even trash collection."

1) Those are extremely dangerous professions. We give men too little credit for the dangerous work they do.

2) When a certain portion of the citizenry is armed and antagonistic, police start training and behaving like they are in a war zone. Because they are.

3) Being in constant war modus is exhausting, so it's difficult to hire and retain the best staff and you increasingly have to hire people with military backgrounds because they're used to the environment.

4) But soldiers are trained to deal with enemy combatants, not citizens, so that's how they roll.

5) This is the lesson from Black Lives Matter. This is why black people complained about the police.

6) So, the police left. And everything immediately got worse. And now they are trying to get them to come back.

I’ll believe in good cops when we see them purge the bad ones from their ranks without us having to do it for them.
