Ultimately, what you want from your partner is for them to submit to you to a degree. That’s what devotion is. You shall be devoted to, as if to a God, and you shall devote yourself, as if a holy person. But, like actual faith (or religion if that’s what you wanna call it), this cannot happen forcefully or through doctrines or conditioning. It must be allowed to happen, naturally.
