As a member and representative of the male community, that in general there’s a right balance to be hit (which can definitely depend on the individuals), meaning that when a girl is too mysterious and playing incredibly hard to get, then eventually the guy gets bored and moves on.

The same can also be true on the other extreme of spectrum for some, as in the girl is really upfront and leaves nothing for the guy to fascinate about, then the guy gets bored and moves on.

I personally find it the best if it ends up being a continuous back and forth, making it like kind of a fun game between the two, which also helps spice up the relationship and keep it exciting
