I have to be honest and say that I am only now getting to read Murakami and I 💯 agree. I love philosophical fiction in literature and movies. For example, The Matrix has been one of my favourite movies since I first watched it in 1999.

The Matrix is a classic. Murakami, I do not know how he does it. The way he slowly pulls you in, suspending your disbelief and before you know it you are experiencing this completely bizarre alternate reality. Amazing! No body is like him, of course in my opinion.
