Yesterday, I went a farmer's market. Our favorite bread store raised the price for 1$. I remember the same bread was 4$ or so not long ago. Now it is 7.

To sustain, I want to grow my food. I have been thinking about this for years now. I cannot do this where I live. I really want to move to a better environment.

Starting a small garden is fine. Let's do this (I am saying to myself).

Getting fertile land will become increasingly important.

Absolutely.

You don't necessarily even really need any land, give it a go you can learn a lot with just a pot on a balcony or even just something in a window.

I have no balcony but have windows:)

Oh! you used to have a name, I remember.

now you became 🥔 😉

You still have a name on the profile 😁

Good stuff, use the south facing ones if you can. You can grow lots of things in pots when you think about different layers. For example training a tomato up while having basil growing at the bottom.

It's probably safer to be a potato nowadays 😁

I do have a south facing window!!

Why potatoes are safer??

It's harder to arrest a potato for wrong think 🙂.

A south facing window is really good to have 👍. Go for some salad leaves it nearly always has the best return on investment. For example Lollo rosso, mizuna, arugula whatever you like most and will suit the temperature your house or apartment is currently in.

Give it a go, kill some plants if you need to but hopefully you will enjoy it 🙂

Thanks for the urban farming tips. Yes! I will do try 😉

Mizuna would be great.
