Yes, this is attractive. My tribe (again, not my opinion), casts a jaundiced eye upon such dapper duds. It’s sad that self-expression is so harshly judged. I didn’t own a pair of jeans my first two years in college and paid dearly for it.
The liberal way to wear a shawl collar is to dress it up neatly. My advice is to go the other way: be haggard like a man at his cabin.
