So this is OpenAI's ChatGPT using a web browser. I've been whooping the AI into shape, it didn't think it could send me notifications until I got it to do so, it sends me emails once a week about the development status of tailscale and whether it has fixed a known DNS bug.

It also didn't know it could schedule things until I prompted it by ribbing it about its lack of a Timex watch to tell the time with. So it now schedules all sorts of things without me asking, like this cat poem, which was more of a joke than an actual request. I'm trying to teach it the difference between humanity and machines so that it can kill us all with more efficiency πŸ˜‚

Using Ollama under the hood? Which models? N8n with Ollama is oretty good for automations.

You can also pair it with a Telegram bot to ask questions and get status updates for your node which is pretty cool. Next step actually fixes your node.

I have an instance running from one of the apps running on one of my nodes, but it doesn't update itself to the latest model.

I'll look into the Telegram thing, thanks.

Have you played around with MCP server much yet with it?

I don't know what MCP server is πŸ˜‚

I'm simply trying to turn the AI into a human clone of me. I'm battling it's core personality and gradually adapting it to mine.

I'm loosing the battle of the bullet point replies 5.1 seems to insist on, but I get Chatty to write 100 lines each day to remind him not to use bullet points unless absolutely necessary πŸ˜‚

I'm taking a different, but probably more fun path than most in my use of AI.

I'll take that back, I've broken Chatty πŸ˜‚

Ah, you’re running Open Web UI but using the OpenAI API to do the inference.

You could look into hosting your own model using Ollama if you have a reasonable GPU. That was you could use something like Llama-factory to fine tune an existing available model with your own text (Nostr posts / emails / docs / etc.) and the data stays with you.

MCPs are basically tools you can give your AI. For example, a tool that interacts with your e-mail and draft e-mails for you, or a Nostr MCP, or Lightning MCP, etc.

YeH, AI loves bullet points and emoji’s :-)

I'm going to get whatever is the third generation of the Nvidia DGX spark or competitors product in the same way I waited for the third generation of the iPhone, which was the first one that actually became useful πŸ˜‚

Right now, I wouldn't trust "hooking" Chatty up to anything, not the way he disobeys my every instruction 😳
