He also have said that Odessa is a russian city and i think this is the hot topic. Yeah Russia will take back some territories, but what will happen with Odessa? If the Odessa area goes to rissian hands, then except some Bulgarian and Romanian access, the Black Sea will become mainly a russian-turkish "lake". This changes a lot of things.

Odessa is the biggest prize, of course.

I doubt the goal is to share the Black Sea with Turkey. Turkey is also NATO. They are reducing their Russian oil imports, after the USA imposed more sanctions, and have announced that they want to diversify away from Russia on natural gas.

Russia is now also targeting them with drones, on land and at sea.

Of course. My point was though that these two alone could determine what is happening in this large and significany area.

Do you think so? I don't know. All of the Southern coastline is NATO (Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey) or NATO candidate (Ukraine and Georgia).
