He's not talking about parenting though... Should a criminal be scared to break into my home. He'll yea he should, for his life or for the jail time if he's caught.
I'd rather work towards a world where the criminal is incentivized not to exist. Multi sig cold storage plus plenty of productivity gains to go around the risk reward flips and there's far less need for fear.
We may be living through peak criminality/fait.
You may want the criminal to fear breaking into your house but you won't have to.
