Highly doubt Gary is thinking Bitcoin should be the “one monetary unit”
He says he likes the tech, not it being used as a store of value or alternative payment mechanism
A bureaucrat - whose incentives align with the status quo - should be assumed to be hostile to Bitcoin even if he may say something which appears to be favourable to it.
