Seeing some anti-immigrant rhetoric on here today.

Here is a friendly reminder that when you’re sick and too tired to cook for yourself, usually it is an immigrant who makes the food that will heal you. & it’s their food, recipes, & traditions they carried with them to this country that we get to enjoy.

Grateful for the immigrants who made and delivered this Pho to me today.

I don't think anyone is really anti-immigration. Only that it's prudent do vet the people who are immigrating. No to murderers. Yes to pho chefs.

In my experience people are ok with people who fly into America and stay illegally rather than those who legally come in by crossing a border.

That makes a certain amount of sense though. Plane tickets are relatively expensive. People who have money can better take care of themselves, instead of being a burden on others. Clearly it's a better situation when people can take care of themselves.

Migrants spend so much money to get to the border. I don’t think the cost is that different from a plane ticket.
