I play a game with my data provider at the end of the month.

They claim, that they offer unlimited data at 256k, but high speed data according to plan tier.

But they don’t. The 256k unlimited data is shaped. meaning they try to control what you can and can’t use it for. they deny this, but simple observation contradicts the claim.

so i play a game with ssh tunnels. they can see that data is moving, but they can’t see what it is. then they blocked port 22. So i changed it to 222, and it started working again. Every time the data stops flowing, i change the port, or the port and server and it starts flowing again. Very curious to see if this will just keep going, or if they will try something new. or if they will just make up an excuse to cancel service. Which of course if they do, i’ll post this whole thing on some place more visible.
