But for the sake of arguing:

-There was no apartheid in Constantinople

-Not a single civilian was kicked out of his home

-Natives held major positions (ministirs, army generals, etc) like they did before Muslims

-Major religious "Shaikhs" didn't consider non-muslims as a lower class of humans with less rights

-And the fact that natives didn't have to form resistance against Muslims tells a lot

On the other hand both jewz and crossaders in Palestine:

-Fucked over the natives

-Kicked people out of their homes

-Their religious leaders considered natives (both Muslims and christians) as a lower class of humans (ok to kill)

-Blocked travel/trading routes

-They were army oriented, basically acted as colonies
