Ooh 😳 tell me more. Why did you get a fine art degree?
I'm not gonna get a degree or anything. Just never learned how to paint on a canvas, thinking maybe I should.

I got it to become an art teacher. The degree here (at Concordia) is part of the Fine Arts Faculty instead of a specialization for an Education degree. So all the Art History and Studio Arts classes, plus the requirements for a teaching license.
And I've always loved art. It's something I can't remember not doing in one form or another.
You can absolutely learn to paint on canvas without a degree. Are you thinking oils or acrylics?
