Is a recession worse than inflation?

Neel Kashkari, the governor of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, suggested that some might hate inflation even more than a recession.

We need recessions to garbage collect our poor allocation of resources that inevitably happens.

Inflation is 24 hour caffeine and a Recession is going to sleep at night.
