yeah in all fairness i don't really agree with everything that's said in this article but it's still raises some pretty good points. The fact that security researchers have had to coin terms akin to "universal background radiation" for bot traffic trying to ping low hanging fruits is troubling. And I think most people know on this platform that most monetary incentives on the internet are fundamentally broken.
and with censorship being more prevalent there's absolutely a bifurcation of what I would call an open internet. i'm not sure if this is true anymore but there was definitely a point in time not to long ago where there where third world countries that thought internet consisted of only facebook due to their deals with local goverment.
I dunno its just shit I think about and IMO its part of why nostr is so important.
