I keep thinking about the Saturn today. 30 years!! I was so young and amazed by all the games I played back then. 🥹

So just for fun I'm gonna try to rank my 5 favorites, most memorable Saturn games. Which is hard because that was such a defining generation of consoles. 🔥

Fantastic 2D games, groundbreaking new 3D games, although arguably Sega's machine wasn't the easiest one for those. 🤷

Anyway...

Number 5!

Literally a dream come true. Beautifully graphics, amazing animations, great soundtrack.

Saturn wasn't great at 3D graphics but Sonic Team found a roundabout way to make something very special... But very short!

Virtua fighter was a great game but very rough technically.

The sequel is just better on absolutely every criteria.

One of the best fighting game on this generation and one of the most technically advanced overall.

I loved it!

I played this game later in life and I'm kinda glad I did. I was a big Nintendo fanboy and full 3d was the big thing, so I probably wouldn't have appreciated back then. Such a great game. When I fire up my Saturn, it's usually a question of if I'm playing NiGHTs or something else.
