Itโ€™s very interesting, a colleague of mine (and I would suggest this person is educated, rational and logical) I tried to talk to him about #Bitcoin and told him I hold it - he shook his head, told me he thought I was smarter than that, itโ€™s a fad, youโ€™re gonna lose your money, etc.

There seems to be some people, over the age of 40 (I too am over 40) that will just not buy into ever I think, or maybe they will in full FOMO mode and start buying above $100k and will crash and burn and go through another 4 year cycle dismissing as wizard money!

I went through that phase too. Not long ago I used to laugh at people who believed in this magic internet money that is not backed by any government.

Today's I feel bitcoin is the best thing I have discovered in my lifetime ... We must be patient, transitions take time ๐Ÿ™‚

I agree with #[3] too many people blocks new systems the first time they hear about them, there's a resistance for the unknown.

I'm 40 like you #[4], none of my friends were interested on BTC, and now they started asking...

It's a mixture of being fed up with the current system and hearing about BTC from different people.

I published an article about it last week, I'll Tag you when I figure out how to post it on blogstack (this is my day 1 on #Nostr and I have a lot on my plate now ๐Ÿ˜…).
