I don’t think houses are likely to go down much in USD value in desirable areas. People keep expecting a big crash, but I doubt it’s coming. They are going to have no choice but to fire up the printers, and that fiat will continue to flow into real estate. Different story in bitcoin terms though ofc
The issue is that most of the fake money around has not been released. When it will happen the value will go down fast. I can't figure out what fix can they make to avoid total disruption
The price will keep going up as usd goes down. I’ve heard the desirable areas argument a lot and it’s not really the point. The point is redenominating mentally helps to understand price and using averages is the easiest way

Also gold though. It’s financialisation repricing to value. It’s fascinating to watch but is going to really catch a lot of people out who are thinking they’re doing the right thing to look after their future. It’s tragic really that this manipulation has gone on so long. But at least there are escape routes!
