Wow, really?! Bakerloo line is - I think - probably the worst line 😭 the lights turn off and it pauses sometimes. Always feels like it’s about to fall apart. Having said all that, I rather like it 😁. You should have a look at the new Elizabeth line - rather nice, that one
Been a while but doesn’t the Bakerloo Line also still run some very old carriages… they used and they were great! Wooden features etc. (maybe they’ve got rid of them now?).
most of them look like this inside and out. the same for some of the platforms. this includes the above and below ground lines. i grew up in queens and remember them all being like this. plus dirty smelly and dangerous.
Oh my goodness 😯. I rather love art, and graffiti is beautiful to me, but why make it dirty too 😭 that’s just not right

Hmm, I know while you were sleeping as an old graffiti video. A lot of street bombing maybe painting some trains too. But yes, the CTA is generally know as the L or el, short for elevated. I ride the L most days. We have 2 lines which have an underground section through downtown.

I agree completely with you, I love public transit, especially train systems. Pretty fun to visit other places and experience their public transit systems. I wish the US had more cities with urban rail networks, but we seem to be obsessed with cars here lol
