Using the land as his canvas, French artist Guillaume Legros created a striking artwork on the terrain affected by the recent earthquake in Altınözü, a district of Hatay province in Turkey. Legros, who is known for his large-scale biodegradable paintings on grass, took inspiration from the fault line that emerged after the 7.8 magnitude quake that hit the region on February 6, 2023. He wanted to convey a message of hope and resilience to the people who suffered from the disaster.
